Welcome Basket of Breakfast & Snack Items
Upon arrival, we provide fresh fruit, a half dozen eggs, local bread, bagels or muffins, butter, yogurt, banyan granola, Island honey, prepared fresh pineapple, macadamia nut candy, chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies and cans of Island fruit juice. Coffee, sugar, tea, dry and/or fresh creamer is also provided and restocked as needed.
Rates, Fees & Taxes:
All rates are for 2 guests per suite. There is a one time out cleaning fee for each unit. State of Hawaii taxes totaling 17.96% will be added to all room rates. The tax rate is 10.25% for State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations tax, 3% for Kauai Transient Accommodations Tax and 4.712% for the Hawaii General Excise Tax. Monthly rates are negotiable.
We accept Visa and Mastercard thru our secure, online booking system. Payments via check and/or money order need to be processed via telephone with Lorna (808) 645-6527 and must be received 7 days after booking to confirm your reservation.
Reservations & Deposits:
If you wish to reserve one of our suites, please book through our secure, direct booking calendar on our website. If you have any questions, please feel free to call (808) 645-6527 or email email@example.com. A 50% deposit is collected at the time of booking. The balance is due upon your arrival. Prior to your arrival date, we will send you a map and driving directions to Kauai Banyan Inn.
Kauai Banyan is a NON-SMOKING property. We do NOT allow pets and our suites are unsuitable for children under 10 years of age. Please call us should you be traveling with a licensed emotional/medical support animal.
We have a three night minimum stay requirement. Anything left in units by guests will be held for 30 days. After 30 days items are disposed of. Shipping charges will be incurred by guest. If we cannot accommodate you in one unit for your entire stay, you have the option to move to another available unit (subject to owner’s approval).
Elevated noises and activities or amplified music shall not be permitted after 10pm.
We understand at times unforeseen circumstances arise and cause the need to cancel your travel plans. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover your costs in the event of a necessary cancellation. If you need to cancel your trip, we are able to refund your investment less a $50 processing fee, IF you cancel at least thirty days prior to your check in date (60 days for stays 2 weeks or longer). As we are a small operation, and it is difficult to find a replacement reservation in a short amount of time, we cannot provide refunds if you cancel within 30 days (60 days for stays 2 weeks or longer) of your check in date.
