Rates, Taxes & Policies
Rates, Fees & Taxes:
All rates are for 2 guests per suite. There is a one time out cleaning fee for each unit. State of Hawaii taxes totaling 14.96% will be added to all room rates. The tax rate is 10.25% for the Transient Accommodations tax and 4.712% for the Hawaii General Excise Tax. Monthly rates are negotiable.
Payment Methods:
We accept check, money order, visa and mastercard.
Reservations & Deposits:
Visa or master card information required at time of booking. Total will be processed upon your arrival. Totals over $2,500.00 will require a deposit of 50% of total. If you are paying via check or money order, a 50% deposit needs to be received within seven days of the booking date in order to hold your reservation. The balance is due upon your arrival. To reserve a unit please give us a call at (808) 645-6527 or fill out the Reservation Inquiry Form on this page and we will get back with you promptly. Prior to your arrival date, we will send you a map and driving instructions to Kauai Banyan Inn.
Policies: No Smoking or Pets
Kauai Banyan is a NON-SMOKING property and we do NOT accommodate pets. We have a three night minimum stay requirement. Anything left in units by guests will be held for 30 days. After 30 days items are disposed of. Shipping charges will be incurred by guest. If we cannot accommodate you in one unit for your entire stay, you have the option to move to another available unit (subject to owner’s approval).
Quiet Time:
Elevated noises and activities or amplified music shall not be permitted after 10pm.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand at times unforeseen circumstances arise and cause the need to cancel your travel plans. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover your costs in the event of a necessary cancellation. If you need to cancel your trip, we are able to refund your investment less a $50 processing fee, IF you cancel at least thirty days prior to your check in date (60 days for stays 2 weeks or longer). As we are a small operation, and it is difficult to find a replacement reservation in a short amount of time, we cannot provide refunds if you cancel within 30 days (60 days for stays 2 weeks or longer) of your check in date. Check-In/Check-Out:
Check in is 4 pm–check out is 10 am.
