The beautifully appointed Ali`i Suite is fit for a “King” (Ali`i, means Hawaiian Royalty). This suite features high quality traditional Hawaiian decor, Red Cedar vaulted ceilings, white oak hardwood floors and a stunning four-poster bed with a comfortable eco contoured king mattress. There is a private bath with a soaker tub and a separate double shower as well as a sitting area with incredible mountain and distant ocean views. The Ali`i Suite is as “sweet” as it gets at Kauai Banyan Inn.

Rates, Taxes, Policies & Services

Rates, Fees & Taxes:

All rates are for 2 guests per suite. There is a one time out cleaning fee for each unit. State of Hawaii taxes totaling 17.96% will be added to all room rates. The tax rate is 10.25% for State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations tax, 3% for Kauai Transient Accommodations Tax and 4.712% for the Hawaii General Excise Tax. Monthly rates are negotiable.

Payment Methods:

We accept Visa and Mastercard thru our secure, online booking system. Payments via check and/or money order need to be processed via telephone with Lorna (808) 645-6527 and must be received 7 days after booking to confirm your reservation.

Reservations & Deposits:

If you wish to reserve one of our suites, please book through our secure, direct booking calendar on our website. If you have any questions, please feel free to call (808) 645-6527 or email lorna@kauaibanyan.com. Prior to your arrival date, we will send you a map and driving directions to Kauai Banyan Inn.

Policies:

Kauai Banyan is a NON-SMOKING property. We do NOT allow pets and our suites are unsuitable for children under 10 years of age. Please call us should you be traveling with a licensed emotional/medical support animal.

We have a three night minimum stay requirement. Anything left in units by guests will be held for 30 days. After 30 days items are disposed of. Shipping charges will be incurred by guest. If we cannot accommodate you in one unit for your entire stay, you have the option to move to another available unit (subject to owner’s approval).

Quiet Time:
Elevated noises and activities or amplified music shall not be permitted after 10pm.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand at times unforeseen circumstances arise and cause the need to cancel your travel plans. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover your costs in the event of a necessary cancellation. If you need to cancel your trip, we are able to refund your investment less a $50 processing fee, IF you cancel at least thirty days prior to your check in date (60 days for stays 2 weeks or longer). As we are a small operation, and it is difficult to find a replacement reservation in a short amount of time, we cannot provide refunds if you cancel within 30 days (60 days for stays 2 weeks or longer) of your check in date. Thank you for your understanding.

Lorna has put a lot of effort to create this beautiful space, an open space to the landscape. One can almost float over the trees. The panoramic windows – practically no walls is the secret. A bit of Paradise…
This home is amazing! Wonderful views of the mountains and countryside. The accommodations were outstanding and every comfort was attended to. A large soaking tub, an (actual) two-person shower, and a very comfortable king bed. Lorna was gracious and helpful and we felt like treasured guests in her home. The grounds are a beautiful wildlife habitat and we were greeted each day by bird-song.
