The Pueo Suite is named after the Hawaiian Owl that nests and hunts in the surrounding valley and the Banyan Tree on the property. This suite has a comfortable pillow-top King bed, vaulted red cedar ceilings, white oak floors a wet bar, sitting area and private covered lanai with views of the valley, mountains and the ocean in the distance.

The Koa Bed and Breakfast vacation rental Suite has custom Red Cedar vaulted ceilings, beautiful white oak floors, a comfortable Pillow Top King Bed and a private lanai with incredible mountain views. This unit is situated closest to our resident Banyan Tree (after which our property was named) and is a wonderful spot if you enjoy bird watching.

Kauai Banyan Inn has four beautifully appointed and meticulously cared for vacation suites located in the pastoral hills above Poipu. Each suite is equipped with everything you will need for a peaceful and relaxing visit to Kauai. The hillside location of our Hawaiian Plantation estate offers breath taking, panoramic “bird’s eye” views from each suite. On very clear mornings it is possible to see Oahu as well as the rest of the Island chain in the distance at sunrise. In addition to distant ocean views, there are views of the century-old Banyan Tree that graces the property, mountains, valleys and pasture lands and the southern Kauai coastline. About your hosts, John & Lorna…

We are John & Lorna Hoff, the owners of the Kauai Banyan Inn. We have lived on this property since 1976 and designed/built our beloved family home in 1989 with an “old Hawaii” essence to capture the incredible view of Black Mountain and the Pacific ocean beyond. After our children grew up, they eventually married and started families and built homes on the property, as well. Having been in the hospitality business for 40 years we felt the house and setting so special it should be shared, thus the birth of Kauai Banyan Inn.
